How long have you been in the business?

Jacqueline Elizabeth broke into the wedding world professionally as a makeup artist and hair stylist in 2018! From there, she grew the business and fell in love with the planning process introducing it officially as a service in 2021. The company has continued to grow and expand ever since!

3

Do you have insurance coverage?

Absolutely. We are fully insured to protect us and to protect you. All Makeup and Hair services are covered under a policy specific to those services. All planning & coordination services are covered under a policy specific to those services as well. We also have additional liability coverages to ensure that all parties are protected throughout the duration of our engagement(s).

4

Will I still maintain some control in the planning process if I hire your team?

Definitely!  We will do as much, or as little, as you want us to do during the wedding planning process.  We always ask you what you want and we then make our suggestions to you. Our larger packages include regular meetings to ensure we are all on the same page and honoring your vision as the couple. Every thing we do, we do with you in mind!

5

What is a day of coordinator responsible for?

Here at Ascendance Productions, we offer BOTH full-service planning and event management (a.k.a. day of coordination.) A full-service wedding planner is there to help you through the process as a whole and bring your vision to life. A day of coordinator, on the other hand, is traditionally simply there to make sure your day runs smoothly. For example, a coordinator will greet each of your vendors, show them where to set up, and ensure services begin and end at the appropriate times.

6

Do Day of Coordinators decorate?

Every company is widely different based on specialty and the size of their team! Some companies offer both setup and tear down services while others are there to focus on vendor and timeline management only. We, here at Ascendance Productions, offer fully customizable services and package options to ensure you are getting the services that are the best fit for YOU! Let's set up a meeting to chat about how we can make your dreams come to life.

7

What is the difference between a planner and a coordinator?

An event planner typically oversees the entire planning process - ideally they would be booked even before the venue. They will assist you with sourcing and booking vendors, scheduling your meetings, creating a budget (and sticking to it), crafting your timeline, and all of the other steps through the execution of the event. Coordinators come in at the very end to collect the details from you and ensure the day goes off without a hitch. Have more questions about which option is the best fit? Just ask!

7

Why should I hire Ascendance Productions?

It's important for planners and coordinators to be skilled problem solvers who work well under pressure, willing and able to resolve last-minute issues should they arise. Plus, with acquired knowledge from hundreds of weddings, we have tools that we have accumulated which will save you time and ensure the overall cohesion of the event.

Ultimately, if you don't have a professional in place to manage vendor and guest questions and to enforce quality control, inevitably, responsibility will fall to you as the host of the event. You deserve to be present and enjoy every moment of your day without added stress!
